Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire (A 1995 LucasArts Star Wars Game) doesn’t follow the regular plot of the Star Wars movies, but features the rebel forces and The Empire. The gameplay is very cinematic–it really looks like you are in a Star Wars movie. I never played Rebel Assault (1993), but I have seen screenshots and reviews. Rebel Assault II has a completely new and improved graphics engine. If you appreciate the Star Wars theme and want a good action game, this is a good game for you. The retail PC version on CD includes both DOS and Windows versions of the game (:edit 2019-02-18: there was also a 1996 PS1 release with enhanced graphics; there is now a version for modern Windows versions on Steam).

To this day, this is the only game that literally lives up to the catchphrase “interactive movie.”
